There were no warnings. The weather was fresh and sunny. The birds chirped their favorite songs. The squirrels played chase and threw unwanted acorns at each other for fun. Just like a Category 5 Hurricane catastrophic winds decimating homes one by one in a Florida neighborhood, my family was gone. No good bye hugs. No good bye kisses. Not even a ‘I will see you later, I love you were spoken.
